Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO) has started the day slightly in the green.
The lithium companies are charging up for investors today. Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX: GXY) is reaching for the stars, it’s up 6.78% so far today. Orocobre Limited (ASX: ORE) is up 4.57% and Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX: PLS) is up 4.12%.
Incitec Pivot Ltd’s (ASX: IPL) share price has fallen nearly 4% this morning on news that Roy Hill Iron Ore will not go ahead with its contract.
The worst performance in the ASX200 this morning came from Fairfax Media Limited (ASX: FXJ) with the share price down by almost 5%.
The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX: ANZ) share price has fallen by 0.56% so far today on news that it won’t be selling UDC Finance to HNA Group.
Fianlly, the Qantas Airways Limited (ASX: QAN) share price is flying for shareholders with the price taking off by 2.86% at lunchtime.
