ASX Thursday Lunchtime Market Update

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is almost as flat as a pancake so far today, it's currently up 0.09%.

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is almost as flat as a pancake so far today, it’s currently up 0.09%.

Sirtex Medical Limited’s (ASX: SRX) share price has continued growing after its impressive earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) result that it reported yesterday.

Speedcast international Limited (ASX: SDA) is the second biggest gain in the ASX200 so far today, the share price up 2.72% on news that John Truschinger has been appointed as the chief information officer.

The biggest gain in the ASX200 today belongs to Nanosonics Ltd. (ASX: NAN), the healthcare company’s share price is up by 3.11%.

The BHP Billiton Limited (ASX: BHP) share price has risen by 0.65% as the market digests BHP’s half-year operational update.

Whitehaven Coal Ltd (ASX: WHC) is the worst performer of the ASX200 so far after the market was disappointed with its update. The share price is currently down 4.05%.
