Today’s biggest news today is that Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA) has announced who its new CEO will be.

The biggest winners in the ASX200 today have been resource companies, Orocobre Limited (ASX: ORE) is up by 6.97% and Iluka Resources Limited (ASX: ILU) is up by 5.05%.

Investors are further reacting positively to ResMed Inc’s. (CHESS) (ASX: RMDrevenue update last week, the share price is currently up by 3.61%.

One of the worst performers today has been Atlas Iron Limited (ASX: AGO), it has fallen by 16% after providing a trading update and its quarterly production report.

Shareholders of gold stocks haven’t had a golden start to the week. The share price of Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX: NST) is down 5.83%, Regis Resources Limited (ASX: RRL) is down 4.56%, Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited (ASX: SAR) is down 3.79% and St Barbara Ltd (ASX: SBM) is down by 2.99%.
