Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), has risen by 0.47% at lunch.
The lithium miners are the winners so far today with Pilbara Minerals Ltd (ASX: PLS), Orocobre Limited (ASX: ORE) and Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX: GXY) up 8.81%, 6.29% and 5.3%. Pilbara gave a positive update to the market.
The Challenger Ltd (ASX: CGF) share price is down by 1.2% at lunch with investors being unimpressed by the annuity provider’s half year report. Challenger’s assets under management rose by 18% and normalised profit went up by 6%.
Investors were also not convinced by Cochlear Limited’s (ASX: COH) half year report, its share price is down by 1.2% after the profit fell by 1%.
MNF Group Ltd (ASX: MNF) was another to report its result today, its share price has fallen by 7.18% even though the profit was up 25%.
Finally, Transurban Group’s (ASX: TCL) half year report drove the share price higher by 0.13% after increasing its revenue by 10.5%.
