Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is down by 0.93% at lunch.
Gold stocks are some of the biggest risers in the ASX200 so far today. The Resolute Mining Limited (ASX: RSG) share price is up 3.83%, the Evolution Mining Limited (ASX: EVN) share price has grown by 2.59% and Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) has risen by 2.59%.
The largest fall in the ASX200 so far today has come from Monadelphous Group Limited (ASX: MND), the resource services company has dropped by 6.42%.
Think Childcare Ltd (ASX: TNK) went into a trading halt and announced that it would carrying out a capital raising to fund the acquisition of four new childcare centres.
The Lynas Corporation Ltd (ASX: LYC) share price was another to rise in response to today’s volatility, it is up by 2.34%.
Finally, several capital-market facing and US-related shares have dropped today. For example Altium Limited (ASX: ALU) is down 3.1% and Challenger Ltd (ASX: CGF) is down 2.59% today.
