The big news so far today is that Wesfarmers Ltd (ASX: WES) is going to sell its Homebase/Bunnings business in the United Kingdom & Ireland for a loss. Wesfarmers’ share price is currently up 0.24%.
Aristocrat Leisure Limited (ASX: ALL) shares have risen another 5.16% today after reporting yesterday, adding to its 8% rise yesterday.
Investors have sent the Greencross Limited (ASX: GXL) share price 4% higher on rumours that it could be a private equity takeover target.
Another share to be one of the top performers today is gold stock Resolute Mining Limited (ASX: RSG), it’s up 4.42%.
Telco Vocus Group Ltd (ASX: VOC), owner of the Dodo brand, has risen 5% after confirming earlier in the week its new CEO would be an ex Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) executive.
A2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX: A2M) has recovered another 3.36% today after previously disappointing investors that its revenue would come under the market’s expectations.
