Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is down by 0.14% at lunch.
The BHP Billiton Limited (ASX: BHP) share price has fallen by 2.62% this morning, along with South32 Ltd (ASX: S32) which is down 2.7% after announcing it is acquiring all the shares in Arizona Mining (TSX: AZ).
Fellow resource business Galaxy Resources Limited (ASX: GXY) is the worst performer in the ASX 200, it is down 3.1%.
Goat milk product company Bubs Australia Ltd (ASX: BUB) is down 5% after coming out of a trading halt after announcing a capital raising.
One of the biggest gains in the ASX 200 so far is Greencross Limited (ASX: GXL), the pet company has a lot of ‘short’ interest, but some investors appear interested.
Gold miners are the shares showing the biggest gains today. Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited (ASX: SAR) is up 3% and St Barbara Ltd (ASX: SBM) is up 2.66% so far at lunch.
