ALL ORDINARIES Index Rises, BHP Shares Up

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is currently up 0.48% at lunch.

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is currently up 0.48% at lunch.

One of the biggest contributors to this has been BHP Billiton Limited (ASX: BHP), which is currently up by 1.3%. BHP-offshoot South32 Ltd (ASX: S32) is actually the strongest ASX20 performer with it currently being up by 2.13%.

Another resource company to be up today is Rio Tinto Limited (ASX: RIO), the iron ore miner has gone up by 1.12% at lunch.

The share price of media monitoring business iSentia Group Ltd (ASX: ISD) has risen by 0.71% after announcing its new chief executive officer (CEO) is Ed Harrison, who has been in various media roles previously.

MNF Group Ltd (ASX: MNF) shares have risen by over 5% so far today after the VoIP company completed its Singapore based SuperInternet acquisition.

The biggest gain in the ASX 200 at lunch is TV company Nine Entertainment Co Holdings Ltd (ASX: NEC), it’s up by 3.7%.
