ALL ORDINARIES Index Drops, Telstra (ASX:TLS) Shares Rise

The Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) share price is up by 3.15% this morning after announcing revised guidance for FY19 after the NBN Co announced its 2019 corporate plan.

Shares of healthcare business Sigma Healthcare Ltd (ASX: SIG) have fallen 8% after revealing in its report that its profit halved.

In other news, aerial imaging business Nearmap Ltd (ASX: NEA) has gone into a trading halt after company announced it was going to raise $70 million to fund accelerated growth.

Agricultural business Graincorp Ltd (ASX: GNC) is up 0.2% this morning after lifting its FY18 earnings guidance despite challenging drought conditions. The company is expecting a considerable decline in grain production in Eastern Australia in the upcoming year.

The Magellan Financial Group Ltd (ASX: MFG) share price is down 1.74% despite telling investors that its total funds under management (FUM) grew by over $4.5 billion in August 2018. The fund manager is now managing over $74.5 billion, mostly invested in global shares.
