The BHP Billiton Limited (ASX: BHP) share price is up 2.22% this morning along with other miners like Rio Tinto Ltd (ASX: RIO) which is up 2.5%.
Shares of dairy processor Synlait Milk Ltd (ASX: SM1) are down 5.7% despite the New Zealand company revealing profit growth of nearly 90%.
The share price of TPG Telecom Ltd (ASX: TPM) is down 5.22% after the telco revealed its FY18 result to the market yesterday.
Investors also pulled back on Kathmandu Holdings Ltd (ASX: KMD), its share price is down 1.4% after reporting yesterday.
Aged care operators are in the red again today after the Government raised the idea of a Royal Commission into the industry. Japara Healthcare Ltd (ASX: JHC) shares are down 2.46%, Estia Health Ltd (ASX: EHE) is down 0.81% and Regis Healthcare Ltd (ASX: REG) has fallen 0.81% with professional investors like Macquarie Group Ltd (ASX: MQG) believing there won’t be any winners from an inquiry.
