The ASX is following overseas shares down. CSL Limited (ASX: CSL) shares are down 2% and BHP Billiton Limited (ASX: BHP) shares are down 1.8%.
Shares of MNF Group Ltd (ASX: MNF) have fallen 1.8% after launching a share purchase plan.
The share price of National Australia Bank Ltd (ASX: NAB) is down 0.25% with CEO Andrew Thorburn facing a parliamentary committee.
Gold miners are today’s biggest gains so far with Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited (ASX: SAR) up by 5% and Resolute Mining Limited (ASX: RSG) up by 4.7%.
Buy now, pay later business Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) shares are down another 3.6% after a volatile week due to news that it could face a Senate inquiry.
Heavy equipment businesses are also some of the heaviest share falls at lunch. Seven Group Holdings Ltd (ASX: SVW) is down 3.18% and Emeco Holdings Limited (ASX: EHL) is down 4%.
