ALL ORDINARIES Index Up, Amcor (ASX:AMC) Shares Rise

The share price of Amcor Limited (ASX: AMC) is up 2.4% at lunch, making it the strongest performer in the ASX 20.

Shares of respiratory business ResMed Inc (ASX: RMD) are up 5.2% after it gave the market its first quarter report of FY19.

AMP Limited (ASX: AMP) shares are up 1% after its large fall yesterday with it announcing a large sale of a division for $3.3 billion.

The Challenger Ltd (ASX: CGF) share price is down nearly 3% after it announced that a new CEO would soon be taking the reins.

Gold miners are down with the share market recovering today. Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX: NST) shares are down 4.6% and Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) shares are down 3.2%.

At lunch rare earth miner Lynas Corporation Ltd (ASX: LYC) is the ASX 200 share to have gone up the most, its share price is up 6.6%.
