ALL ORDINARIES Index Down, Telstra (ASX:TLS) Shares Drop

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is currently down 0.35% at lunch.

The Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) share price is down nearly 1%, making it one of the biggest detractors to the ASX Index’s return.

Shares of Amcor Limited (ASX: AMC) are down 0.7% with the packaging company announcing the next stage of progress of its acquisition of Bemis.

The GPT Group (ASX: GPT) share price is down after announcing it has a binding deal to sell its stake of the MLC Centre.

Zip Co Ltd (ASX: Z1P) shares are currently in a trading halt with media speculating that the buy now, pay later business is going to raise $50 million at $1.50 per share.

The Sigma Healthcare Ltd (ASX: SIG) share price is down around 5% with the pharmacy distribution business updating the market about the Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (ASX: API) proposal. The Sigma Board said that API proposal is not in the best interests of shareholders.
