ALL ORDINARIES Index Rises, Soul Patts (ASX:SOL) Falls

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX: XAO)(ASX: XAO), is currently down 0.19% at lunch.

The Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Co. Ltd (ASX: SOL) share price is down around 2% with the investment house reporting its half year result showing another impressive six month period.

Related business Brickworks Limited (ASX: BKW) has also reported its interim result, which showed an improvement of underlying and statutory earnings, as well as a dividend increase. The Brickworks share price is down 0.6% in response.

Shares of Sigma Healthcare Ltd (ASX: SIG) are up 0.9% in response to its result which showed a decline in earnings, but it seems it was better than expected.

The share price of Nufarm Limited (ASX: NUF) is up 5.2% after crashing yesterday in response to its reported result.

Eclipx Group Ltd (ASX: ECX) shares are down around 7%, following on from yesterday’s huge fall after providing a trading and merger update to investors.
