The Afterpay Touch Group Ltd (ASX: APT) share price is currently in a trading halt as it raises money, at least $300 million, to fund its medium term growth.

The share price of Vocus Group Ltd (ASX: VOC) is up almost 12% after receiving a preliminary takeover offer from AGL Energy Ltd (ASX: AGL). The AGL share price is down 6% as investors take in the news.

The Woodside Petroleum Limited (ASX: WPL) share price is up 0.7% with the oil price rising despite the negative news about Pluto LNG.

Shares of Pioneer Credit Ltd (ASX: PNC) have risen 6% in response to the debt collector’s latest announcement regarding its accounting of its purchased debt portfolio.

Many of the ASX’s popular growth shares have risen strongly so far. The Nearmap Ltd (ASX: NEA) share price is leading the way, it’s up almost 6%.
