Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX:XAO)(ASX:XAO), is currently down 0.17% at lunch.

Many of the gold miners on the ASX are having a strong day as markets fall. The Resolute Mining Limited (ASX: RSG) share price has gone up 11.1%, the Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited (ASX: SAR) share price is up around 10.1%, the Evolution Mining Ltd (ASX: EVN) share price is up 6.8% and the Newcrest Mining Limited (ASX: NCM) share price is up 6.4%.

The share price of Lynas Corporation Ltd (ASX: LYC) is up 6.3% with the rare earth miner making an announcement referring to the Malaysian PM saying that the export of WLP residue will no longer be a condition for renewal of its licence.

Shares of Rio Tinto Limited (ASX: RIO) have fallen 3.8% after the large miner reported its result yesterday and declared special dividend.

The AGL Energy Ltd (ASX: AGL) share price is flat after delaying the closing of two of its power plants.
