If you know me outside of investing, you’ll know that I love software development and anything technology-related. This episode of The Australian Investors Podcast features Jason Kotchoff, the founder of Stocklight – Australia’s most popular investment app, as rated by app store reviews.

Jason’s background is rich with lessons learned in computer science and entrepreneurism. After discovering programming at a young age, Jason moved to the US to work on the early versions of Hotmail. From there he moved into the orbit of so many of the big-name entrepreneurs we know today. Over time, however, his talent for programming moved him closer to investing.

In this podcast we talk about the most popular programming languages, passive income, Kiyosaki’s cashflow quadrant, using equity to power your net worth, Vanguard and more.

Here’s something that scares me. Jason told me that if someone has a 70-year lifespan, by age 30 they have 21 million minutes to go. There’s an opportunity cost to everything we do.

I believe this episode of The Australian Investors Podcast will be worth the time investment. Here’s Jason Kotchoff from Stocklight.
