In the Australian Property Podcast spotlight this week:
- Australian real estate agents are quitting. It’s last-in, first-out as real estate agents exit the space. Properties for sale in capital cities are down 26% from their five-year average.
- The NSW First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme has expanded. “On or after 1 July 2023, eligible first home buyers will receive an exemption from transfer duty for purchases of new and existing homes up to $800,000 and a concessional rate of duty for homes up to $1,000,000.”
- Back to the city! Tree changers from covid are returning to the big smoke as employers require more people in the office. But will it stick?
