Listener questions

My shares are getting delisted

If I own shares in a company that is going to be delisted from the ASX (e.g NBI for me), what are things to consider when deciding to hold or sell?

Buying an S&P500 ETF on US or ASX → Falcon

If my broker accesses Aust and US market (stake). What is the difference (pros/cons) of buying an Aust ETF that tracks the S&P vs buying a US ETF that tracks the S&P?

AAA or just use HISA/TD? → Casey

What’s the difference in benefit and diversity between having money in a high interest savings account or a fixed interest cash ETF like AAA? Do the dividends from AAA beat the interest from a savings account? Thanks!

How much for Cash? Why would I bother investing in a Cash ETF rather than directly investing with a bank e.g. TD? It seems that TD’s off a much better return and security.

Do ethical issues impact share prices? → Timothy the tepid trader

Why does the stock price not necessarily follow company profit or how they treat their customers/employees? E.g. Kathmandu stock has fallen dramatically over the last few years despite record revenue and QANTAS stocks have increased despite a terrible time for their customers and employees.

Key investment metrics → Long-Term investment rookie

When choosing an Investment what metrics other than performance are worth looking at to make your decision?
