Straker translations Ltd (ASX:STG) is named after its founder, Grant Straker. Straker founded the company in 1999 with his wife. Today, Straker is a leader in translation services for small, medium and large customers around the world. The company’s RAY translation platform combines artificial intelligence and machine learning with human feedback loops to translate text and audio. The computer/machine learning element allows the company to translate many times faster than a standalone human translater. Customers that use Straker include television studios and streaming services, technology companies and government departments hoping to deliver their content to an overseas audience.
