Darren is an accomplished business builder and leader with a career spanning over 25 years in financial markets. Darren has a passion for identifying quality managers and investment products. Darren has spent the last 7 years working alongside a passionate and highly skilled team building the TAMIM investment business. Today, TAMIM operate some of the most successful and diverse equity, property and credit investment solutions in Australia. Prior to establishing the TAMIM Group, Darren was a key executive in a boutique equity investment manager. Here, he focused on the distribution of their Australian and International Equity solutions helping grow the business by over 5 times. Darren has also operated as a key executive at a listed Australian hedge fund in a role which encompassed investments, distribution and operational responsibilities. During his tenure, the team grew the business from $120m of funds under management to just over $6bn. He has previously held senior trading positions with Nedcor Investment Bank in South Africa and Macquarie Bank in Australia, in these roles he had the responsibility of managing interest rate portfolio’s in excess of USD 12 billionn.
