We’re already almost halfway through September 2019, so with reporting season finished it could be a good time to buy shares of ASX mid-caps.

For my own portfolio, I like to find ASX shares that are growing their dividends. Growth is an essential part of the dividend equation for me. I want to see that the dividend increases are funded by growing earnings and/or growing underlying asset values. I also have a portion of my portfolio invested in an ETF that picks undervalued global businesses with strong competitive advantages.
For Rask Media, I have an interest in covering technology (and tech-related) businesses with a global growth story, as well as cyclical companies that are cheaply priced because they’re at a low point in the cycle, such as retailers and resource businesses which could benefit strongly in the medium-term.

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX:XAO)(ASX:XAO), is currently up 0.28% at lunch.

The iSignthis Ltd (ASX:ISX) share price is rocketing this morning, it’s up 18% in early trading.

The Senex Energy Ltd (ASX:SXY) share price could be one to watch this morning after it revealed a $50 million asset sale.

The Eclipx Group Ltd (ASX:ECX) share price could be a mover today after it announced an asset sale.

The ASX 200 (INDEXASX:XJO)(^AXJO) is expected to open higher today, the USA’s S&P 500 Index (.INX) rose by 0.29% on Thursday.

Australia’s share market, or the All Ordinaries Index (INDEXASX:XAO)(ASX:XAO), is currently up 0.36% at lunch.
