For my own portfolio, I like to find ASX shares that are growing their dividends. Growth is an essential part of the dividend equation for me. I want to see that the dividend increases are funded by growing earnings and/or growing underlying asset values. I also have a portion of my portfolio invested in an ETF that picks undervalued global businesses with strong competitive advantages.
For Rask Media, I have an interest in covering technology (and tech-related) businesses with a global growth story, as well as cyclical companies that are cheaply priced because they’re at a low point in the cycle, such as retailers and resource businesses which could benefit strongly in the medium-term.

ASX tech shares often have the potential to deliver great returns because of their strong margins and cheap operating costs.
The Coles Group Ltd (ASX:COL) share price is down amid news relating to higher wage remediation costs for managers.
The Adairs Ltd (ASX:ADH) share price has sunk 20% after giving an update showing weakening retail conditions.
ASX growth shares could be the way to go to deliver strong returns over the longer-term. I really like Vaneck Morningstar Wide Moat ETF (ASX:MOAT).
