The Wesfarmers Ltd (ASX: WES) share price is down 0.4% after announcing it had launched a takeover bid for lithium business Kidman Resources Ltd (ASX: KDR) which is up 42.6%.
Shares of Woolworths Group Ltd (ASX: WOW) are up 0.4% in response to a solid sales update for the third quarter of FY19.
The share price of Pendal Group Ltd (ASX: PDL) is now down 12.2% after revealing a large hit to its interim profit.
The Select Harvests Limited (ASX: SHV) share price is up 5% in reaction to the almond company’s pleasing crop update.
Telstra Corporation Ltd (ASX: TLS) shares are down 1.2% despite news leaking of its plan to sell a stake of some of its properties for up to $1.5 billion.
